Double Shaft Shredder For Sale Double Shaft Metal Scrap Shredder Machine For Scrap Metal Recycling Plant
A twin-shaft metal shredder is a device specifically designed for shredding metal materials. It uses blades mounted on two rotating shafts to apply shear, crushing, and tearing forces to various types of scrap metal, breaking large, irregularly sized scrap into smaller, uniform pieces or flakes for subsequent recycling, transportation, and reprocessing. This equipment is widely used in metal recycling, scrap metal processing plants, and other fields.
Working Principle
• Power Transmission: Power is provided by a motor and transmitted to the shredder's main shafts via a transmission device such as a pulley, coupling, or reducer, causing the two main shafts to rotate in a set direction and speed. Typically, the two main shafts rotate in opposite directions to enhance the shearing effect.
• Material Entry: Scrap metal to be shredded is evenly fed into the shredder's shredding chamber through a feed system (such as a hopper or conveyor).
• Shredding Process: Within the shredding chamber, sharp blades are mounted on two rotating shafts, arranged in a staggered pattern. When scrap metal enters the gap between the two shafts, the high-speed rotating blades exert a strong shearing force on the scrap metal. Simultaneously, the squeezing action of the two shafts causes the scrap metal to be squeezed and torn. Through this continuous shearing, squeezing, and tearing action, the scrap metal is gradually broken down into smaller pieces.
• Discharge: The shredded scrap metal is discharged through the shredder's discharge port. The size of the discharged scrap can be controlled by adjusting parameters such as the blade spacing and the spindle speed to meet actual needs.
Applicable Materials
1. Metals: Scrap steel, aluminum alloy, copper, stainless steel, and other metal products, such as used car hulls, metal shelves, and metal pipes. Shredders facilitate metal recovery and remelting.
2. Plastics: Various plastic products, such as plastic film, plastic pipes, plastic containers, and plastic pallets. Shredded plastics can be further processed into recycled plastic pellets for use in the manufacture of new plastic products.
3. Rubber: Rubber products such as used tires, rubber hoses, and rubber mats. Shredded rubber can be used to produce recycled rubber, rubber floor tiles, and other products.
4. Wood: Scrap wood, wooden pallets, wooden furniture, and tree branches. After processing in a shredder, wood can be used in industries such as biomass power generation, wood-based panels, and papermaking.
5. Paper: Waste paper, cardboard, and cartons. Shredded paper facilitates subsequent recycling in papermaking.
6. Fiber: Fiber products such as used clothing, carpets, and non-woven fabrics. These waste materials can be shredded and reprocessed into fiber products or other products.
Advantages
1. Excellent Crushing Effect
◦ It can shred various irregularly shaped and large scrap metal materials, such as scrap metal furniture, metal structural parts, and large metal pipes, into uniform small pieces, facilitating subsequent recycling and reprocessing.
◦ It can also effectively crush hard and tough metal materials, such as stainless steel and alloy steel, ensuring high crushing quality.
2. High Processing Capacity
◦ The dual-shaft design enables the equipment to process more scrap metal per unit time, resulting in higher production efficiency. It can meet the needs of large-scale metal scrap processing and is suitable for high-volume applications such as metal recycling plants and scrap metal processing companies.
3. Wide Application
◦ It can process a variety of metal scrap types, including ferrous metals (such as steel) and non-ferrous metals (such as copper, aluminum, and stainless steel). It can effectively shred and process everything from thin metal sheets and scrap metal products to heavy, large metal components.
4. High Stability
◦ The machine's rational structural design, optimized layout of the two main shafts, and drive system ensure stability and balance during operation. The use of high-quality materials and advanced manufacturing processes ensures the machine's high strength and durability, enabling long-term continuous operation and reducing the probability of failure.
5. High Level of Automation
◦ Some dual-shaft metal shredders are equipped with advanced automated control systems, enabling automatic feeding, shredding, and shutdown functions. Operators can easily control the machine's operation through simple operations on the control panel, reducing labor intensity and improving production safety and convenience.
Scrap Metal Shredding and Sorting Line
